Bach’s ebullient response to the Christmas story forms the major work in this concert with parts 4, 5 and 6. Alongside this is his cantata for the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, featuring the popular ‘Jesu, joy of man’s desiring’. The perfect way to celebrate your Christmas Eve!
