A sacred exploration of the emotional and spiritual depth of Easter, this programme begins with themes of liberation and devotion, then weaves through sorrow, hope, and the promise of resurrection, culminating in a triumphant celebration of Christ’s victory over death. Featuring works by Samuel Wesley, Schütz, Scheidt, Schein and J.S. Bach, this concert reflects the journey from darkness to light, filled with moments of joy, longing, and the unwavering certainty of the resurrection.
