Karol is a 20-year-old countertenor going into his second year of study at New College, Oxford, where he sings as an Academical Clerk and is taught by Bronwen Mills. He was a pupil at the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School, and sang in the Schola Cantorum. After this, Karol spent a year as a Choral Scholar at Portsmouth Cathedral, where he studied with David Hurley and took part in many recitals.
